hôte is the musical project of photographer and musician Marc-André Dupaul. Having explored folk in his previous musical project, this one is all about following his impulsion to create and deform. Mixing samples and scalable loops, Dupaul finds his way with this different sound. He creates music by putting his voice upfront and letting the guitars in the background. A perfect marriage between organic and synthetic, through which an electronic sound emerges, with deeply emotional and haunting lyrics to complete it.
