After her parents’ separation, Margot, an offbeat preteen, sets herself the challenge of bringing her family back together. One day, coming home from school, she is stunned to discover that a stranger has moved into her house and seems to have enchanted her father. As Margot becomes increasingly disturbed by the unexplainable phenomena surrounding this peculiar stepmother figure, she becomes convinced she’s dealing with a truly evil witch. Determined to save her family, Margot calls on Miss Dalloway, a so-called specialist in the occult, hoping she can help her get rid of the intruder who has taken her family hostage.
