Guinevere is an Italian artist, singer and songwriter.

Born to artist parents, art has always been at the core of her attention. She became passionate about music, analogue photography, theatre, painting and sculpturing.  Not fitting into society’s “you have to be one thing” narrative, she continued experimenting with all these forms of expression, questioning where they would lead while searching for a common ground for them to interact with each other.

After years of research, challenges and unanswered questions, she realized that her music project was the natural point of convergence for those artistic seeds to grow together as a whole, unique and eclectic tree.

Born with rock roots, Guinevere started her own musical research, exploring various genres such as folk, classical and jazz. Later on, these influences penetrated the genre through which Guinevere expresses herself: new folk-rock, with references to pop and classical music; a sound that collects the past and translates it into the contemporary to create something different, eclectic, northern, in which the union of analogue and digital results in an intimate journey, in different worlds, colors and lights.

In 2021 she started collaborating with producer and instrumentalist Matteo Pavesi (Alice Phoebe Lou, Eugenia Post Meridiem) with whom she produced and recorded “Running In Circles” – her debut EP – at Fonoprint Studios in Bologna. In March 2023 “Running in Circles” was released by La Tempesta Dischi/Believe.
